About Imam Zaniar Ahmad
Born and raised in Canada, Zaniar studied Arabic and Islamic Studies at the University of Madinah, and Quran and Chaplaincy at the College of Masjid Nabawi. He also holds an MBA in Entrepreneurship. He delivers Friday khutbahs and lectures, serves as a marriage officiant, runs Zakah.com, and leads fundraisers with a style that is both insightful and light-hearted.
Imam Zaniar is a registered Ontario marriage officiant who performs Islamic marriage and Nikkah ceremonies across the Greater Toronto Area, Niagara, Hamilton, and beyond. With experience officiating hundreds of weddings, he offers heartfelt ceremonies in English and Arabic that blend tradition with a modern, light-hearted touch. Whether in a mosque, banquet hall, or home, he guides couples through every step, from paperwork to personalized reminders and premarital support.
